Program Overview
Clockwork Control is a self-hosted command center built for WordPress agencies and infrastructure operators. Our SMS program (Clockwork Control Operational Alerts) delivers strictly transactional system notices regarding website uptime, server status changes, security lockouts, and maintenance recovery to authorized technical personnel and designated stakeholders.
How Users Opt In (Consent Mechanism)
Subscribers to Clockwork Control operational alerts opt in through an affirmative, voluntary workflow inside the administrative settings of their private Clockwork Control dashboard:
- An authorized system administrator logs into their self-hosted Clockwork Control instance.
- The user navigates to
Settings → Notifications(/settings/notifications). - The user enters their mobile phone number into the Phone (E.164) field.
- The user checks the affirmative consent checkbox: “Enabled (receives SMS alerts)”.
- The interface clearly displays the mandatory carrier disclosure text outlining message frequency, rates, opt-out commands, and links to our Terms and Privacy policies.
- Alternatively, internal team engineers verbally agree during technical onboarding to be designated as on-call incident responders.
By providing your mobile number and enabling SMS alerts, you consent to receive automated operational notifications (uptime, downtime, server status) from Clockwork Control. - To Cancel (STOP): Subscribers can reply STOP, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT, or END to any message from
+1 (855) 273-3997at any time. Subscribers will receive an immediate single confirmation: “You have successfully been unsubscribed. You will not receive any more messages from Clockwork Control.” - For Help (HELP): Subscribers can reply HELP or INFO for assistance, or contact our support team at support@clockworkcontrol.com.
- Dashboard Deactivation: Administrators can also uncheck or delete any phone number directly within the Clockwork Control dashboard to instantly prevent any future SMS dispatches.
Carrier Data Privacy & Non-Sharing Commitment
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties under any circumstances.
